It all began in 1992 in Boulogne-Billancourt, France, with Optique Distribution — a specialist in sun eyewear accessories from day one. For nearly 30 years, our craft has been trusted by over 3,000 opticians and worn by more than 300,000 people worldwide.

Our lenses and clip-ons are compatible with the world's most iconic eyewear brands — Ray-Ban, Oakley, Persol, Maui Jim, and hundreds of other models. Yet for decades, our craft was reserved for professionals: opticians, distributors, eyewear labs. Until the day a simple question — from the founder's son — changed everything.

For us, the answer was obvious. But it was out of reach for him, and for everyone outside the optical trade.

In 2020, we opened our craft to the public. A frame you carefully chose, sometimes worn for years, shouldn't end up in the bin over a few scratches or a need for a new tint. Our lenses are cut to the tenth of a millimeter to fit your frame exactly, in the color and treatment you choose.

Our craft is about extending the life of existing eyewear rather than producing new pairs. Every set of lenses we make means a frame that keeps living, materials that don't end up as waste, a purchase that doesn't need to happen.
